Established in 1978, we are a nonprofit organization that is part of the Independent Living Centers movement. Our mission is to facilitate the empowerment of people with disabilities, creating opportunities for them to direct their own lives and exercise their right to self-determination. Through our grassroots and community-based initiatives, we strive to provide access to the same rights, services, and resources as those without disabilities. With our help, individuals with disabilities can lead independent, dignified, and meaningful lives.
