At Colorado Department of Human Services Office of Early Childhood (CDHS), we are dedicated to providing families with the resources and supports necessary to help children with developmental delays or disabilities reach their full potential. Our Early Intervention program offers services for children from birth until the child’s third birthday, helping families learn ways to incorporate supportive activities into their daily routines. Research has shown that the first three years of a child’s life are the most crucial time for development and learning, and by taking the necessary steps to provide the needed services and supports during this period of time, we can help families of children with special needs achieve their goals.
