About Berklee Institute for Arts Education and Special Needs

At the Berklee Institute for Arts Education and Special Needs, we provide arts education programs for individuals with disabilities ranging from 3-years-old to adults. Our programs include early childhood music classes for 3-8-year-olds, private music lessons for children and adults, an iPad Ensemble for 9-year-olds and up, the Inner Harmony Ensemble, a rock band program, and adaptive dance programs. Beyond this, we offer professional development for teachers and professionals in the field, including an annual 2.5-day conference, workshops, consultations, and professional development study groups. Additionally, we are the only institute in the world to offer a Master of Music in Music Education with an Autism Concentration and a Graduate Certificate of Music Education and Autism.
