Baltimore Area Special Needs Hockey, Inc. provides an inclusive ice hockey program for both children and adults with a traumatic brain injury or intellectual disability such as Autism and Down Syndrome. Our program is designed to foster social interaction, self-reliance, concentration and adaptation to new experiences, enabling participants to gain a sense of accomplishment and pride. We strive to create an environment tailored to the individual ability of each participant, allowing them to enjoy the recreational and therapeutic benefits of this unique sport.
