The Autism Society of Maine (ASM) is a non-profit organization founded in 1976 to promote lifelong access and opportunity for individuals on the Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Our mission is to empower those with ASD and their families, as well as members of the community and professionals working with them, to become participating members of their communities. ASM provides education, advocacy, support and public awareness, aiming to ensure that everyone living with ASD can access the resources they need. Our members include individuals with ASD, their families, members of the community, and professionals working with them, all united in our mission of ensuring equal opportunities for those living with ASD.
