American River Speech (ARS) is a private practice specializing in the evaluation and treatment of individuals diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), PDD-NOS, Aspergers Syndrome, Down Syndrome, Nonverbal Learning Disorder, Semantic Pragmatic Language Disorder, and related neurodevelopmental disorders. Our licensed speech pathologists provide Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) assessments, referred to us by parents, school districts, ALTA California Regional Center, medical doctors, and psychologists. Our staff of speech pathologists are Masters degree-bearing, licensed by the Board of Medical Quality Assurance, and certified through the American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA). With extensive experience providing services to children with ASD, American River Speech is committed to providing quality care to those in need. We are not an insurance provider.
